CSW Communications Due August 1st

As part of our efforts to raise awareness about the situation faced by North Korean Women in North Korea and China, our working group will be submitting communications to the UN Commission on the Status of Women.  We have partnered with a number of North Korean Women in order to feature their testimonies.  However, any individual or organization can submit communications.  The deadline is August 1st.  We encourage anyone interested in North Korean Women’s Rights to send a letter asking that the UN CSW focus on the plight of North Korean Women.

What types of communications are sought?

Accurate and detailed information relating to the promotion of women’s rights in political, economic, civil, social and educational fields in any country anywhere in the world.
